What an Android screen replacement is
The phone screen is one single part, made of the glass, the touch sensor and the display, which is the part that lights up the picture. If one of these layers fails, the repair is to replace the whole set. Your phone, with its photos, contacts and apps, stays the same.

OLED and LCD screens

Common mistakes with a cracked Android screen
Using it with chipped glass
The glass can cut your finger, the crack spreads, and dust and moisture reach the display. If you cannot replace it today, cover it with clear tape and book the repair.
Pressing the screen to see if it comes back
Pressing a screen with a spot or line rarely fixes it and can make the damage worse. If the picture fails, the safest step is to have the phone checked.
Charging a screen that is lifting

How long does a screen replacement take?
Up to 2 hours, at the store in Floripa Shopping. If the phone has another fault along with it, such as the board or battery, the time may change and the store will tell you before going ahead.
Will I lose my photos and phone data?
No. In a screen replacement, photos, contacts and apps stay on the phone. If the phone still turns on, make a backup anyway. Help Cell also does data backup.

Yes, the 90-day warranty covers defects in the service. It does not cover drops, liquid or misuse after the replacement.
Can I keep using the phone with a cracked screen until I replace it?

Does the fingerprint reader still work after the replacement?
On some models the reader sits under the screen, and the part affects the result. Ask about your phone before replacing it, and test it when you pick it up.
What if the phone fell in water and the screen stopped working?
