What Help Cell repairs on tablets
Inside, a tablet is a big cousin of the phone: it has a touch screen, a battery, a board and a charging port. So the repair works the same way, but with bigger parts that are often harder to find. A tablet repair technician has to open the device carefully, because the glass is large and the back is usually glued.

Tablet screen: glass, touch and display
The tablet screen is made of the glass you touch, the touch sensor and the display that shows the image. On many models, the whole set is replaced as one piece. On some, the glass is glued to the display, so one cannot be repaired without the other. The technician checks this for your model before giving you a price.
Tablet battery: when it no longer holds a charge
A tablet battery loses capacity with use and with time. If the tablet shuts off while the battery still shows charge, gets hot on the charger or lasts only a few hours, a replacement will fix it. Because tablets are large, the battery takes up much of the device, and replacing it means taking off the screen carefully.
Charging port, board and tablet that got wet
If the tablet won't charge, the cause can be dirt in the port, a worn port or a problem on the board. Help Cell cleans the contacts as a courtesy, and that often fixes it. When the problem is on the board, the repair is done with micro-soldering. A tablet that fell in water needs chemical cleaning as soon as possible.

How much does tablet repair cost?
The price of a repair depends on the brand, the model, the problem and the part. That is why Help Cell does not publish one fixed price: send us the model and what happened on WhatsApp, and the reply will come with the price for your case.

What nobody tells you before a tablet repair
A tablet is not a big phone when it comes to repair. Some details change the time and the decision, and knowing them first avoids surprises.
Why tablet repairs take longer than phone repairs
The part is not always on the shelf
Popular phones have parts that move fast. Tablets sell less, so the screen or battery for your model may have to be ordered. Help Cell confirms the part before we agree on the job.
The device is harder to open
The glass is large and thin, and the screen is often glued. Opening it in a hurry can crack the glass or tear a flat cable (ribbon cable). This care takes more time at the bench.
The final test is longer
Touch in all four corners, image, charging and Wi-Fi are checked before pickup. On a large screen, a dead corner only shows up in a full test.
Is it worth repairing or replacing the tablet?
Compare the repair with how you use it
If you use the tablet every day for study, work or your kids, a repair is usually worth it. Ask for the price and decide with the number in hand.
A very old tablet may not be worth fixing
If the model no longer gets updates and the part is rare, it may be better to save your money. Help Cell will tell you honestly when a repair is not worth it.
Checklist: before you bring the tablet in
Back it up if the tablet still turns on
A screen or battery repair should not erase data, but a backup protects you from surprises. Help Cell also does data backup.
Write down the brand and model
The model name is usually under Settings, in About tablet, or on the back of the device. With it, we can give you a price without you bringing the tablet in first.
Take off the case and bring the charger
The case gets in the way of the check, and the charger helps us test it. Confirm with Help Cell what we need.

Will I lose my tablet's data?
In a screen or battery replacement, the data stays on the device. If the tablet still turns on, make a backup first, to be safe. In a board repair or a tablet that got wet, the risk is higher, and the shop will tell you before we start.
Is the tablet part original?

Does the tablet repair come with a warranty?
Yes. The 90-day warranty covers the repaired service against defects. It does not cover drops, liquid or misuse after the repair.
My tablet won't charge anymore. What should I do?
Try another cable and another wall socket. If it still doesn't charge, bring the tablet in: we clean the contacts as a courtesy, and that often fixes it. If the battery looks swollen, don't charge it. Read Swollen battery: what to do before it bursts.
