It should not. The Touch ID button is a part connected to the phone, so the technician checks Touch ID before handing it back. If yours was already failing before, tell us when you ask for the price.
My iPhone SE fell in the water. Can it be repaired?
Often yes. The sooner the phone arrives, the better. Do not try to charge or turn it on again: corrosion spreads when power is applied. Bring the phone in and the store will check whether chemical cleaning can solve it.
Will I lose my photos and data in the repair?
With a screen or battery replacement, the data stays on the phone. If the iPhone does not turn on, let us know on WhatsApp, because the process changes. If you can, back up before you bring it in.
What does the 90-day warranty cover?
