What is an iPhone camera replacement

The iPhone has at least two cameras of different types, and each one has its own most common problem. Knowing which one failed helps you ask for the right price.
Rear camera
The rear camera is the one you use to take photos and videos of what is in front of you. On many models it is a set of two or three lenses, and each lens can be replaced separately from the others. So the price changes depending on which lens failed.
Front camera

iPhone camera not working: does it really need replacing?
Not every bad photo means a broken module. Sometimes it is dirt, a case or software. Do the tests below before you take your iPhone in, because they show whether the problem is simple or whether the camera needs a repair.
Quick tests you can do at home
Clean the lens and take off the case
Wipe the lens with a soft, dry cloth. Many blurry photos come from fingerprints or a case that covers part of the lens. If the photo is still blurry after cleaning, the problem is something else.
Restart the iPhone and switch cameras
Restart the device and, in the Camera app, switch between the rear and front cameras. If only one of them fails, the problem is in that module. If both fail, the cause may be somewhere else in the phone.
Test the lenses one by one
On models with more than one rear lens, switch between the available zoom levels. If one of them turns black and the others work, the fault is in that lens.
Check whether the problem came from a drop or from water
A camera that stopped after a drop or a dip needs a check of the whole phone. If liquid got in, do not charge the iPhone and see the chemical deoxidation service.

Using the iPhone with a cracked lens
Dust and moisture get in through the crack and reach the inside of the module, and the damage usually gets worse. If you cannot replace it right away, cover the glass with clear tape and book the repair.
Choosing only by the lowest price
A low-quality camera can focus slowly, show different colors and look less sharp. Compare the part and the warranty, not just the number.
Assuming it is always the camera

Yes. The 90-day warranty covers the service against defects. It does not cover drops, liquid or misuse after the replacement.

Yes, it is worth getting it checked, because a drop may have damaged only the camera or other parts too. Send the model and tell us what happened on WhatsApp. If the camera is not the only fault, Help Cell will tell you before doing anything.
